Team Photo shoot!

Hey Room 7,

On the Friday when we are back at school the newspaper team is going to have a team photo shoot. There won't be 1 or 2 ... there will be 3! One photo for each site!

*SPOILERS*

The photo for this site will be us all inside the newspaper (you'll see what I mean!)

The photo for the Game Zone will have us all stuck in a game of Pac Man

The photo for the Room 7 Newspaper Live site will have us all inside the Room 7 News Studio!

I'm looking forward to the photo shoot!

Web Articles in Newspapers

Hey Room 7,

The Poll that wanted to know if Web Articles should be in the newspaper has closed and it turns out that they will be in the newspaper. The web articles are now just known as interviews. The first interview coming up is Miss Aitken. There is a list of the interviews if you scroll down. The undercover reporters have already asked her some questions and the first interview will be in the next issue.

Two New Sites!

You probably have realised that we have two new sites which are in the top right hand corner. They are very new so they don't have much on them. Room 7 Newspaper Live has Behind the Scenes Footage 1&2 on it and Room 7 Newspaper Game Zone has heaps of games! So go look at them! They are great!!!

New Sections

Hey Room 7,

It is Official that the Room 7 Newspaper is now in sections so when the next issue comes out look for the sections in the top right corner. The sections that will be in the newspapers are:

As you all know Poptropica is one of the most used websites in our class. I for one think it is a great game where you can help the townsfolk of a random village. Web Articles and Articles

Hey Room 7,

Today the NEW undercover reporters suggested that the web articles should be in the newspaper as well as being on the site. So we are gonna d a poll. If you think we should put the web article out on the site as well as on the newspaper select yes. If you disagree and think that it should only be on the newspaper click no. But if you think it should only be on the site click Other. Or if you really don't care click I Don't Care!

Mistakes:(

Hey Room 7,

On the latest newspaper the Quartermaster put a mistake when she sent me her article (the competition article). It says that they will sing it at assembly but it meant that they will try let you sing at assembly. It can be a whole school assembly or a Rata team assembly. Web Article delayed and Who's best at checkers?????

Hey Room 7,

Since our reporters have had bad luck getting info off Liam Hogan and Mr. Moore the next Web Article will be delayed. It is most likely it will be out on Wednesday and then the one after that (with new undercover agents) will be out on friday about the last day of term and they will be interviewing Miss Aitken.

Now then, I'd also like to talk to you about the new game of chess. We want to know who the best at chess was so we are making a comp. If you have beaten the computer heaps of times we want you to show the newspaper team how good you are. We will watch you verse the computer and then we will put the finalists into a poll about who the best at checkers is.

So go practise and tell Sean, Grace, Lucy or Caitlin that you want to show them some time. Practise and tell those people before week 4 of Term 4 and then we will start the poll.

Competition

Hey Room 7,

We are launching more competitions!

The first one is the one that is mentioned in the Newspaper that came out yesterday which I don't need to tell you about because you can read it on there. But the second one is a girls only competition.

All you need to do is design a wicked snowboard that is only used by girls. You can draw it or even make a mini 3-D model of your board! You will also have to write 50 or less words about why your snowboard is cool. First Place will get a Snowplanet T- Shirt and another prize (which will be anounced on the day it finishes). Then Second Place will get another one of the special prizes. Their names will both be in the Room 7 Newspaper. I will also make sure the competition goes in the newspaper aswell just in case some girls want to enter but they haven't send the site. The winning board will have it's own section for the newspaper.

Competition ends October 6th so get thinking!

Production madness!

Who's having fun practising and rehearsing for the production! I know I am. Whether you've got a main part(like Savannah) or in the Spanish Dancers(like Sophie .W. and Lucy) or you've just got a class part, you guys are doing great. I wonder why Mr. Moore is so stressed? Hmmm........

Now in each Web Article we will have different undercover reporters and after each Web Article we give you clues for who they are and when the next web article comes out we will make a poll which will ask you who you think they are. So try guess:

Room 7 Newspaper Web Article #5: Production

Hey Room 7,

The clock is ticking and the production is getting better and better but will it mess up?

We have two undercover reporters from inside the auditorium watching the rehearsals and seeing how it is going.

"At the moment the stage crew seems to be taking such a long time to move the props it is just mad! They are suppost to do it in 10 sceonds but instead they do like 20" says the first reporter.

"Also there are numerous people that are holding the show up by not getting changed quickly and are misplacing their props" comments the second.

The two reporters are going to try talk to Liam Hogan about how the lighting is going and we will try have a chat with Mr. Moore when he is not panicking...

So Lights, Camera...Action!
